What will Maid My Day do in my home?

We want to be your ONE CALL SHOP you name it and we will be glad to make sure that your cleaning and home preservation is done to your satisfaction. You work hard enough to maintain your lifestyle. Cleaning and preserving your home or office should be left to us while you relax and spend time with family.

Am I potentially liable for worker's compensation insurance or taxes?

No. All of our staff are employees and not sub-contractors. Therefore, you would NOT be responsible for potential liability for work-related injury and social security taxes. Maid My Day takes care of this for you so you do not have to.

When Can I expect the team to arrive?

Our normal work days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Saturdays 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.. While in most cases it is not possible to give a specific time to be at your home, we will make every effort to meet your needs. Please call our office in the morning for better accuracy of the team arrival.

Do I have to do anything before the cleaning?

To serve you better and to be more efficient, we ask that you pick up clothing, toys or other household items scattered.

What if something is damaged when my home is cleaned?

We treat your home with complete care and respect. However, should damage or breakage occur while we are cleaning, Maid My Day will make every effort to repair or if necessary, replace the item.

Do I need to provide any supplies or equipment?

Maid My Day will bring all the equipment and supplies necessary to take care of your cleaning needs. If you prefer for us to use your cleaning supplies let the office know and we would gladly comply to your wishes.

Do I have to be at home when the team arrives?

Not Necessary. Most of our customers are not home when we clean. Only the crew cleaning your home will have access to your home. your key is kept locked away and only management has access to it. Your key is dispatched with the job sheet in the morning and is returned to the office at the end of each day. If you choose not to provide a key or hide a key on the premises and we are unable to access you home for a scheduled cleaning, you will incur a lock out fee of $50.00.

Will your crew allow other vendors to come to my home?

NO. Maid My Day will not allow others to enter your home unless you notify the office in writing via e-mail or simply call us on the day of service.

What if I need to change the scheduled cleaning?

Just give us a call. Our employees rely on your business. We would like to have a minimum of one business day notice for any schedule changes or cancellation. If When short notice is given, we may need to charge a fee if the team cannot be reassigned.

How do I pay for the service?

Most clients find it convenient to give the Maid My Day office staff their credit card information. You may also may choose to leave a check, on the kitchen counter, made payable to Maid My Day. All credit card payments are charged one business day prior to the service date. All payments are to be made on or before each cleaning visit. If there is no payment or no payment arrangements made before or on the day of service then the service will not be performed. For your convienance, We accept cash, check, Money Order, MasterCard, VISA, American Express and Discover. Any additional work made after this agreement will be charged to the credit card on file. Unless other arrangements are made for the final payment, the job will not be started until payment is made in full. All customer orders will be secured with a credit card regardless of the form of payment

Can I have just one cleaner assigned to my house?

Yes! Each of our clients is assigned a regular cleaner for on-going service. This cleaner starts off with an audition cleaning to make sure that they are the best match for our new client. If our client is pleased with their assigned cleaner, that cleaner becomes their new permanent cleaner. If not, then rest assured, because we have an average staff size of about 20 employees. We are certain to have a cleaner that is right for you. We also have the ability to send a team of two or more to houses that are too large for just one cleaner. Just let us know what you are looking for when you call.
